"My favourite place for ice cream! Amazing tasting ice cream at cheap prices and HUGE portions! You can choose two flavors per scoop which is perfect to try out various flavors at once! They are seasonal so they close during the winter months but I highly recommend this place even if you're out of the way!"

Great location right off the downtown main intersection; lots of free parking; Kwartha Dairy ice cream, so top notch; great service and always friendly servers; and you can sit at one of the outdoor tables if you choose and watch the world go as you enjoy your ice cream. "Took my wife, my 3-year-old daughter, and my 5-year-old niece out for some ice cream and found this little gem, Cool Moose Ice Cream, on Google—especially since my daughter has a dairy allergy. The staff were absolutely amazing and so friendly. At one point, my daughter dropped her ice cream. When I went to pay for another one, they told me not to worry about it and replaced it without hesitation. That kind of kindness really goes a long way. The portions here are generous for the price, making it excellent value. Between the delicious ice cream, allergy-friendly options, and the outstanding service, they’ve definitely earned a customer for life. I’ll absolutely be coming back again with the whole family!"

"I'm reviewing because I was really impressed with the vegan oat vanilla ice cream! It was one of the best I've ever had - and also not too sweet! Other vegan options I've had have been overly sweet but theirs was perfect! I'm giving 4 and not 5 stars because they do not have toppings other than sprinkles and chocolate/strawberry syrup."

"My kids love this quaint ice cream shop in alliston. There is usually someone outside at one of the 5 tables so I know we are not alone. The cool moose ice cream consistency is more like kinetic sand with amazing flavours. The kids who are serving are super friendly and helpful as the place always looks clean! "Best ice cream shop in Alliston bar none. Why would you ever even think about going to Dairy Queen when you have a place like this? Please try any flavour and i promise you will be back. They have a small shop but a lovely patio outside which is great in the summer and each time i have been there i have not had an issues with seating. Delicious and served with a smile by hard working kids! Keep it up."
